A Fabulous End to 2025!

What an amazing run up to Christmas we had with all our Everybody Sings! groups.

We started our Christmas carolling on Thursday November 27th with our Solihull group enjoying a very festive sing at Notcutts Garden Centre. Fundraising for Age UK Solihull for the fourth year, it's always a happy event... and even Father Christmas kept putting in an appearance when it was song-appropriate!

Next our Aldridge group were delighted to be invited to perform at the Acorns Children's Hospice Celebrate Your Stars event on December 7th at Stonnall Village Hall. A very touching afternoon being a combination of a Christmas concert alongside a memorial as we sang some really moving and emotional songs in the first half and then enjoyed a very happy second half with audience participation and we all left with smiles on our faces after ending the afternoon with a stirring rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas!

On Saturday 13th December our Sutton Coldfield groups performed at Buzzards Valley for their Christmas Market. Another lovely afternoon of festive singing on Sunday 14th December at William Wheat's Garden Centre in Aldridge.

The highlight to the end of our year was visiting Birmingham Crisis Centre (our chosen charity of 2025) to deliver Christmas presents for the families staying at the Refuge over Christmas. It was wonderful to hand over lots of gifts and see an amazing place providing such invaluable support to mothers and children in such a difficult position. We have raised over £3,415 over the year as well and it felt really fitting to end 2025 visiting such a special place. A big thank you goes to our fabulous members and their families and friends for supporting us in all our ventures over the past year.
